Delete it in the app
- Open the Sanatan Sanskaaram app and sign in.
- Tap the Profile tab.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Tap Continue, then confirm with Delete my account.
Gate and counter staff accounts: tap Delete account at the bottom of the scanner screen, then confirm twice.
Deletion happens immediately and you are signed out.
Or ask us to delete it
If you no longer have the app, email [email protected] with the subject "Delete my account" and include the mobile number you signed in with. We may contact you on that number to confirm the request is yours, then delete the account within 7 days and reply when it is done. You can sign up again later with the same number, as a new account.
What is deleted
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. We delete:
- Your mobile number, name, profile photo, dates of birth and anniversary, and family details.
- Linked sign-ins, sessions and device links.
- Your complaints, notifications, invites, vehicle numbers and any messages you sent to our WhatsApp number.
- Your entry and parking passes (cancelled) and any pending wallet requests (cancelled).
- Your event coin balance (set to zero). Coins cannot be recovered after deletion.
What is kept
Records of past coin transactions and gate entries are kept in anonymised form. They are no longer linked to your name or number, and we keep them because the event's accounting and audit need them. A record of any action an administrator took on your account is also kept for security. Nothing else is kept.
